Hi all,
I am trying to determine just what pollution control my car needs.
its a 4/1975 Mk1 with the following ADR's



I am guessing that for ADR 27 , I need just a charcol cannister, vapour line from the tank and vapour return from the
carby.

I know that there are regs for polloution regarding engine swaps and relevant pollution so I have a 73 TC cortina 2L not a late model escort 2L in my Mk1 Esky.



Am I correct?

What engine swap, it's just an engine Ford sold in that configuration in Australia

Being pre ADR and a pinto i would so you wouldn't need any you can get away with a set of 45's

Honestly, they won't care. Especially considering the shell is pre Adr27a. All they'll be concerned about is changing the engine number & displacement on their data base. My 1970 escort from factory had no cannister or return lines. Not even a pipe from rocker cover to air cleaner. Just the pcv valve to the manifold which you'll want to retain anyway so the car doesn't stink up from the crank case vapours
