Hey Guys
I'm chasing longer wheel nuts for the rally car - tapered one end & open the other as will be getting longer studs as well
I have seen a heap of alloy units but not really sure of them and thinking steel will be better for strength - but no expert in this
any ideas or suggestions ?
thanks
Scott

hi Scott
ive been using BLOX alloy nuts on the race car for 2 seasons now, M12 x 1.25, and they get taken on and off quite frequently with no dramas, torque to 70 ft lbs

find the part number you need then pretty much any auto store can get them in for you. I got a set of long wheel studs recently through Autobarn

yes Cam....
I am running the next round of our state club series on June 21st..
this will be a second attempt to get back out there as last the wiring on the trailer stopped us the morning of the event so fingers crossed with the trailer re wired! ((note - Newer cars don't all like the chassis of the trailer being used as an earth....))
only a few small things to do to it before the rally

It's a bugger having your tow car or trailer let you down. Hope all goes well this time.
We had a khana at the local show ground on Friday night and I had to use the old Valiant farm ute to tow the car in. It doesn't usually get used at night and I discovered the battery/charging system wasn't up to par on the way home. Ended up having to get my navigator to drive in front of me all the way home because every time I turned the lights on the ute cut out...
