Hi guys does anyone know if there's anywhere I can get my tags duplicated or a set re printed? The numbers on my tags arnt that bad but someone has removed them before and the corners are all huge as someone put them back on with huge rivets and there's not much left of the corners

Reproducing ID or compliance plates that have been issued to a car built to ADR's is a big no no under Qld and Australian law no matter what condition there in. Even Ford can't reproduce them.

the wording in aus LAW is "calculate to decieve" !!! pretty much same charge as FRAUD !

On a different note on the 79 rs2000s wich way did the I'd tags run? Mine have bein removed before and run across the body but there's holes that have bein bogged up that would have made the I'd tags fun with the body not across I've tyres to find some pics but everyone's photo just misses out haha

Anyone know the best stuff to clean id tags?

also helps if you have a buffing wheel on a bench grinder

Clean them with a citrus based cleaner and then polish them by hand with Autosol or toothpaste

or if the tags dont match the chassis or engine numbers
use 40 grit sandpaper
