I am now an Australian Citizen

I had my pledge, got my certificate, signed the electoral role and sang the national anthem tonight.

I didn't have to steal any loaves of bread or apples though, I thought that was a compulsary requirement :?:

I feel very happy to have reached this point in a long journey, thanks to Danny who came along for some moral support, and to referee any possible punch ups between me and Paula if needed

Sounds like a celebratory dinner is the go, but since the Normam is a little thin & crispy these days, and given you're new found nationality, I think it either has to be the Yatala Pie Shop or a Bid Dad's pie outlet
