I would have named it 'NO EXPENSE SPARED REBUILD'. It would be nice to have their budget to restore a car. I looked at all 307 photos, just awesome. Even the effort in repairing the gauges was mind blowing. Thanks for the link. Photos 273 & 275 have a bubble arch Mk1 Escort in the background.

What a sleeper. Don't know about putting 250HP through wood spoked wheels though :shock:

. Must be high tensile wood.

Don't be fooled by the wheels. If you look in the background in one of the photos you will see what appears to be a mould for the wheels.....Aluminium painted to look like wood perhaps?

Gary thats what the photos around number 110-120 seem to show but the article in photo 200 claims they are timber... pulling the readers leg I dare say! Clever engineering/design though to make it all look original...the spark plugs for example.

Steve the company was set up by Roger to run escorts for himself and his sons Ollie and Matthew and has been running ever since with ollie mainly from what I'm told
