Can anybody help me identify this Diff?

It is a rear loader with octagonal cover plate.

It carries a number 73-AA-4005-DB Ratio 4.11

Axle tubes are 57.5 mm OD. Distance between outside of axle flanges is 1350 mm approx.

Could this be from a late model Mark 1 Escort or maybe a Mark 2?

Is this diff stronger than the front loader English Axle from a early Mark 1 Escort?

That's the one. I see from the photo caption that it is a Mark 1 Diff. I assume it is equivalent to the front loader also fitted to the Mark 1 - no better, no worse??
