Can Kunifer Copper/Nickel brake lines be used in Australia on the road and in motorsport? Seems standard Copper is illegal, can be work hardened. I've only seen Steel in Australia

Don't know the legalities with the others but I've never had a problem with steel (bundy) tubing bought from Pirtek (or similar).

the standard for RS escorts from the AVO factory
were coated with a green anti rust zinc chromate paint
similar to aircraft spec
as for most of the 3rd world (aus etc)
cars were done with "prerusted" bare steel tubing :-?

for memory
mk1 was imperial size tube & fittings
mk2 metric size tube & fittings

CAMS rules state that only steel lines are acceptable.

Perth Brake Parts in Welshpool sell plated steel line that is easy to bend and looks good.
