Hey, I've just acquired a R31 rear brake setup for the RS and I've been looking how I'll route the handbrake and piping. I've searched everywhere but can't find pictures of someone with a complete finished setup. Are there any others? Paul Dunstan? Matt?
From an engineering and safety point of view I can see all the standard pipework sits on the back of the English axle. The handbrake does as well. When using Paul Dunstan's brackets the handbrake cable appears to require a routing and attachment to the calliper from under the diff housing. I'm thinking the only way without kinking the handbrake cable is to then sit it above the leaf springs when running forward to the centre of the car. This may allow it to be squished between the springs and chassis rail. Would this be legal? Matt75 has a nice little project going on CF website. Here's a pick of his that shows this. Matt you around?
Cheers
