MK1 Brake Set Up Options

I am in the process of changing out the braking system, in 2 minds of which way to go. Car is registered, intended for road and club use.
I am interested in opinions of the wise and experienced.
Option1 (most favoured, but not by RTA)
Front
Capri struts, fitted with Volvo calipers and vented disc's, coil overs. Pedal box with 0.750 and 0.700 master cylinders ready to go in.
Rear
Hilux diff, R31 calipers and Audi discs.
Potential Issue with RTA
Running braking system without brake booster seems to upset the RTA inspectors a little. I just picked up a remote booster from a mini, I have read that the twin cams ran a remote booster, can anyone expand on this for me please. How is the booster tied into the brake system?
Option2
Front
Capri struts, fitted with standard M16 calipers, widening kit to accept vented disc's and retain 2lt boosted master cylinder set up.
Rear
Hilux diff, R31 calipers and Audi discs.
I know both options work, there's plenty of chat about these options, I am interested in knowing about the remote booster tying into the option 1 set up. From an engineering point of view, option 1 is far more satisfying, just got to keep it legal.
Thanks Mark
