RS Motorsport :: Classic Speed Restored

Hi Guys,

I am just finishing off my Front Volvo Caliper & rear R31 Disk Brake conversions and am starting to think about pads.

I plan to use either a volvo 240 or 120Y M/Cylinder and have plans to make the car a weekend track event car but also the odd drive around town on club plates so I am not too concerned about noises and dust build up etc...

I have coilovers, 285lb spings 15" rims and reverse eye Kings on the back with Bilsteins.

Can any / everyone post what they are using or what they have tried over the years that have worked well or crap?

I have emailed Howard at Race Brakes in Melbourne and he suggested their own brand with rb74 front c2 for rear at $180 each set.

Has anyone used their pads before and give feedback?

I have also heard good things about EBC Green stuffs for front but they don't make them for the rear.

Dunno about rears but I have Volvo calipers on the front. Ditched the EBC greens in favour of Ferodo TS2000. Much better except very dusty (99% street use though).
