So how to remedy this,
zero offset bells
32mm wide disks
back of disk hits steering arm knuckle



spacers between bracket to suit disk location should not be needed?



Im thinking alloy hubs with the disk mounting face machined further out?? will this affect the bearing housing?

any advice??

Well...Im thinking..... you should sell this lot to me and let me sort it out

Mount the disc on the outside of the bell and get rid of the spacers on the calliper mount.

Toss the original hubs and bells.

Machine a new set of hubs to suit a "hat" style bell so the rotor assembly fits over the hub - not bolted on the rear. Should not be difficult to get the desired offset bell to suit the calliper mounts.

Before I start throwing new parts away I wanted to determine if I have a missmatch of origial parts to suit the new Escort brake Kit. I havent had a response from RACE yet but was hoping to identify if Mk2 struts and hubs have different dimensions to Mk1 or Capri etc?

In the mean time Any advice on machining the disk mounting face a further 5-7mm towards the outside...will the bearing be sufficiently supported
