Does anyone know where you can buy the square shouldered o-ring seals that sit inside the recess of the split half in an M16 caliper? Preferably an Australian supplier.

I know you can get two in a caliper rebuild kit but i want to buy in larger quantities (100) and do not need the rest of the stuff in the kits.

I've searched high and low for just the half seal without the rest of the kit, without luck.

In the end I got hold of some round section O rings that had a total cross section very similar to the square. So far so good with evaluation of durability - haven't had brake failure or the loud noises or discomfort that usually follows. It is important to get the right material type as most o-ring materials decay quickly when exposed to brake fluid.

Considering the critical nature of brakes I'd recommend against using the wrong shape ring. Evaluate at your own risk.

The little ones on the left in the bottom ebay ad are the ones i am after, but i am looking to buy them in quantity - 25-50-100.

Interesting in the top ad picture the large seals have coloured markings on the side edges - the last two seals i got from Quicko in Adelaide about 10 years ago are also colour marked on the sides - blue and white. Must be to ID them, which would make it easier if i could find them in the first place
