Hi Guys,
My mk2 esky has a brake fluid leak from the center or the brake pressure diferential switch were the electrical conection plugs in. Is it a case of the switch itself is stuffed or should there not be fluid under it in the first place in which case the valve itself is the problem. To make it worse I've just had it overhauled by the local brake mob.
If I didn't have to get a blue slip then I'd bypass it altogther.
Any advice welcome...
Thanks Neil

It sounds like either the o-rings are stuffed or the cylinder bore is pitted and fluid is leaking past. Pic below shows a disassembled pressure differential valve for reference. I'd be taking it back to the local brake mob and getting them to fix it properly, although If they didn't get it right the first time then chances are they may not be able to fix it

Yes Thanks for the replys. I think i shall take it back to the brake shop and see what they say. I was originally going to overhaul it myself, maybe I should have as all the other brake part I did myself and there Ok.

Looks like I have to get the valve re sleeved as it's pitted in the bore. Seems the brake mob only cleaned it and put a new oring in one side of it before as tbey didn't realise it had two orings (doh) .
Sean how much was it to get yours re sleeved ??? They quoited me $120.
