what's the story?
i see some with a wide set of stripes along the bottom in line with the bumpers and some with two thin stripes more towards the top along the crease.
i have a 1980 aussie rs 2000 with the two thin stripes along the crease. is that correct?

Hi and welcome.

I'm sure the original Aus RS had decals running length wise along the side from bumper end to bumper end. These were made up of multiple thin black stripes (maybe 9?). See pic below although not the best for this purpose.... :roll:

The 2 thin strips along the body line would have been similar to the UK trim along with the blacked out rear panel.

really!? no aussie rs 2000s had the blacked out rear panel!? mine does, but it must've been sprayed then..such a shame. it really looks good.
