Perth panel and paint shops

I recently went to a panel and paint shop in West Perth, imaginatively named West Perth Panel and Paint. It's close to work so I thought it'd be convenient.
I asked for a quick quote/appraisal about filling/welding some side strip holes on my 79 MKII sedan, painting up a replacement boot lid, and cutting out a little rust. I was told that they were booked for the next five weeks, they usually deal with "beamers" and that i wouldnt have the money to be able to pay for the quality of work that they do :evil:. They could have simply told me they weren't interested in doing the job, not assume that I could not afford to have it done! Maybe if you fix rich prick's cars for a living, you too turn into a prick. Thats customer service for you. Does anyone know of companies specialising in escort panel & paint/resto work in Perth?
