MK2 Panel thickness

Are there other areas that are thicker like the chassis for example?

I think the panels are 1.2 (?) thick mild steel. And yes chassis rails are thicker than the panels i.e. when a certain somebody was welding tramp bar kits into Escorts, he used to blow holes in the floor, but not in the chassis rails.
