Hello,
I would like to get a roll cage made and installed into my Mk1 2dr escort. Can anyone recommend a fabricator?
Primarily, I wanted it for safety (driving on roads) but I am toying with the idea of trying the car on a track some day through some club.
I have absolutely no idea what is required so please be patient with me.
Cheers,
Peter.

where are you peter...what part of the country. There are plenty of great roll cage fabricators who can advise and build it for you to meet your needs. But no point finding one in brisbane if your in perth.
cheers,
JP

Just curious are roll cages legal on the road?
also you should be wearing a helmet if you have a rollcage installed

Try these guys. Were very helpfull about 8 years ago when I built the last one. They should be able to advise on legality and otherwise.

Supercheap here in WA are selling ADR compliant 2" 4 point harnesses!
Surely if they are ADR'd they would be legal?

Fixing points are the thing once you remove the orig belts the car won't pass a RWC in Vic at least unless it has been regod before that is what I have found
