I have read that the Duratec HE rods and pistons are cast items and limit the engine to 7000rpm. I have also read that replacing the rod bolts with ARP items allows that limit to be lifted to 7500. Does anyone have more knowledge of this ?

I have read this aswell. Do I search on ebay for duratec 2.3 and you will find better rods, pistons and heads from america.
