1600 x-flow help

Hi guys I've got meself a 76 escort ghia n recently piked up a x-flow head off an older chap for 80 bucks n a set of pistons was just wondering what do I have to do to put the x-flow on any engine enhancements ect also I see people have bein putting the 1300 gt pistons in how much work needs to go into running them? Em just after a lil more snap for a smallish price as my 2ltr coupe is my project... Any help will be appreciated or any other suggestions thanks

the ghia 1600 had a similar engine to the sport. Best gains are in the head and cam. A good well ported head will yeild results as will a BCF2 cam. you can get upto 120hp witht he 32/36 weber and ford GT manifold. In FF we can get 110 with standard parts. key is good head, degreed cam, and profiled rockers.

Thanks guys got meself a Webber n the gt manifold any ideas where I could get a bcf2 cam? Or a spec to get my stocky re ground?
